Privacy Policy

Ripscroll (“we”, “us”) is operated by Rory Monaghan. This policy describes what the Ripscroll iOS app collects and why. We collect as little as the product needs, and we design the server so it cannot accept anything else.

What we collect

• Onboarding plan. First name (optional), the platforms you picked, a usage band, the reasons you selected, and a target date. Stored on your device first, then synced so your plan can follow you.
• Install identifier. A random UUID in the Keychain. Used only to bucket rule updates and attach anonymous rule-match counts.
• Rule-health telemetry. Counts of which filter rules matched. No URLs, usernames, page content, or browsing history.

What we never collect

• The content of pages you browse inside Ripscroll.
• Usernames, passwords, cookies, or messages. You sign in on each platform’s own website.
• Location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
• Advertising identifiers. We do not sell data and we do not run ads.

Screen Time

If you grant Screen Time permission, iOS — not Ripscroll — enforces the shields. We never see which apps you open outside Ripscroll.
